Antioch University Los Angeles is a place where individual spirit thrives, and collective community grows.  With more than 6,000 distinguished alumni, AULA has been honored to serve the diverse communities of the greater Los Angeles area since 1972. Our core  values of social justice, service to community, and life long learning comprise the heart of our B.A. degree completion program and masters degree programs in organizational management, education and teacher credentialing, psychology, and creative writing.

AULA’s newest program, the Master of Arts in Urban Sustainability grew organically in response to the increasing awareness of interconnectivity among environmental, economic and social issues.

Antioch College was founded in 1852 in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Horace Mann, Antioch College’s first president, was a renowned educator, architect of the American Public School System, social reformer and abolitionist. His goal was to create an educational environment that was stimulating and unconventional in its approach to learning.

Antioch University Los Angeles, the faculty comprise an amazing group of talented mentors and instructors completely dedicated to providing their best to students. Members of the core faculty spend hours on campus, serving as instructors, faculty advisors, supervisors, and mentors to students in a variety of disciplines.
