Assam University Courses

The university offers various programmes:

• M.Phil Programme

Candidate securing not less than 55% marks in the Master Degree examination of Assam University or any other recognized university in the releven subjects shall be eligible for admission to the M.Phil programme. Candidates have to appear in admission test and interview, which will be organized by the respective Department / School. Candidates who have been awarded Fellowship based on a common examination conducted by
the UGC, CSIR or such other bodies as may be approved by the University may be admitted to the M.Phil programme directly.

The university also offers many other courses in Journalism and Mass Communication, Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce, Education, Physical education, Foreign Languages and Law.
