Attitude towards work

We all take pride in our performance. Pride gives a winning edge. It enthuses one to put in required effort and hardwork. Half-hearted effort does not produce good results. Thus the quality of the work and the quality of  worker are inseparable.

Attitude towards work differs from person to person. One takes it up as there is no other choice, the other as a means to earn daily bread, no other choice for the love of it. It is the last one who takes it up with dedication and utmost perseverance. He ultimately the rewards abundantly. The inner joy that radiates his humility and innate pride is not ego. The others too should develop a similar attitude and endeavour to make a difference.

Every work and the consequent result is a self-portrait of the person who does it, regardless of what the what the job he does. So when we take up a job, we must do it perfectly, ignoring the hardships.

The feeling of a job well done is a reward in itself. It is better to do small things well than do big thing poorly.
