BEM Bordeaux Management School was founded by the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1874, and is one of the oldest “Grandes Ecoles” in France. The school is a member of the “Conférence des Grandes Ecoles”. Originally called the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, the school became the Groupe ESC Bordeaux then BEM Bordeaux Management School and now we prefer to be called simply BEM.
BEM Bordeaux Management School is to train managers who will be responsible for their actions not only in a professional context but also in relation to society. This approach to management will be reflected in their professional, personal, economic, social and environmental life. Global responsibility has already been an integral part of all the various teaching programmes and school practice for a number of years.
