The Benson Idahosa University is a private, Christian university in Benin City, Nigeria. Benson Idahosa University is named after Archbishop Benson Idahosa, a minister from Benin City, Nigeria.

Benson Idahosa University is fully accredited by Nigeria’s higher education accreditation body, the National Universities Commission (NUC), and was ranked 2nd among private universities offering undergraduate degrees in the country by the NUC in their national ranking.
