Undergraduate Bachelor Degrees
Bachelor of Arts: Study the complex cultural and social issues, past and present, that address real world concerns. Majors and minors in Aboriginal & visual arts, anthropology, Canadian studies, classical & modern languages, creative art, drama, economics, English, gender & women’s studies, geography, history, music, Native studies, philosophy, political science, psychology, religion, rural & community studies, and sociology.

Bachelor of Business Administration: A four-year degree program that provides students with a solid foundation in business studies, facilitating students’ transition into careers in management, further education in graduate school, professional accounting designations, or entrepreneurship.

Bachelor of Education:
Prepare yourself to teach early, middle and senior years.  Special Northern, Hutterian, and Aboriginal teacher programs available.  Concurrent programs in  Music/Education.

Bachelor of Fine Arts:
A professional studio-based program offering four-year majors and minors in Aboriginal art, ceramics, digital media & design, and painting.

Bachelor of First Nations & Aboriginal Counselling
: The only professional-level qualification in Canada embracing First Nations and Aboriginal holistic approaches to counselling, healing and community.

Bachelor of Physical Education Studies:
An excellent degree choice for studentswho wish to specialize in Physical Education.

Bachelor of Music:
BU has built a reputation as one of Canada’s finest schools of music. Programs are offered in music education, performance and other areas.

Bachelor of Nursing:
Brandon University houses a program that will train you as a general duty nurse with an area of specialization in a challenging and rewarding health care environment.  A Post-Diploma program for RNs is available.

Bachelor of Science:
Study various aspects of science at all levels from broad, theoretical models to basic experiments that reveal the principles governing our world. Majors and minors in botany, chemistry, computer science, geography, geology, mathematics, physics & astronomy, psychology and zoology. A distributed major enables diversification.  Also programs in forestry/horticulture, water quality technology and wildlife management.

Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science:
To address environmental issues from a broad perspective, awareness of environmental issues facing society will go together with a firm foundation in physical, life, and social sciences.  Three streams:  resource management, physical sciences, and biodiversity.

Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing:
A unique four-year professional program prepares you to address the needs of individuals, families, and communities.  A post-diploma program for RPNs is available to develop the scope of your competencies.

Certificate Programs
Business Administration: The Certificate in Business Administration is designated for persons who wish to develop their skills and knowledge about the fundamental principles and practices of Business Administration in the Canadian context.
The academic program for the Certificate in Business Administration consists of 30 credit hours of study.  This is equivalent to one full year of regular classes.

Justice System:
The Justice System Certificate (JSC) is offered through the Faculty of Arts with the Departments of Political Science, Sociology and Native Studies at Brandon University.
The JSC is designed to meet the needs of persons who are interested in or currently working within the justice system.
The program consists of 30 credit hours of university study.  All courses taken in the certificate program are regular credit courses and may be used at a later date for credit toward a BA, BSc or BGS.
