Carlos Albizu University (CAU) is a private, non-profit, institution of higher learning with campuses in Miami, Florida and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Through its expert faculty, CAU offers exciting and challenging programs in Business Administration, Education, and Psychology to over 2,000 students at our two campuses. With more than 40 countries represented in our student body, CAU – Miami Campus thrives in a modern facility with 18 acres of university grounds in the city of Doral, Miami – Dade County.

Carlos Albizu University (CAU), established in 1966, is the only fully accredited secular university on the US mainland named in honor of a Hispanic. We are proud of our roots and our commitment to excellence in program offerings. We welcome students from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds, as we provide our students with a rich exposure to culturally diverse populations through academic training and applied experiences. CAU classes are small and with flexible schedules to meet the needs of our students. All coursework is conducted in English.

Carlos Albizu-Miranda is the first Hispanic Educator to have a North American University renamed in his honor. On January 1, 2000 the Board of Trustees of the Caribbean Center for Advanced Studies, which includes the Miami Institute of Psychology, conferred this honor on Dr. Albizu by renaming the two-campus institution, Carlos Albizu University.
