Sir,
Subject: Possible Dangers of Contracting Waterborne Diseases.
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned towards the impending possibility of waterborne diseases.
The temperature is zooming up and thee is a possible danger of contracting deadly diseases like cholera and gastroenteritis. The poster in your newspaper was informative and there is a dire need for creating awareness about the prevention of such diseases through such informative posters. People should be informed that prevention is better than cure. They should drink only safe water, keep food items covered, eat only freshly cooked food and wash handle before preparing or eating food. In the state of emergency the doctor should be consulted immediately. Oral Rehydration Solution which is available at all Health Centres free at cost should be used. More health centres should be opened and door information should be given to the illiterate masses. All these steps would reduce the risk of such deadly diseases.
Hope the authorities concerned would look into the matter and take some action.
Thank you.

Yours truly,
Vani Prasad
