At Central Bible College, we specialize in preparing men and women, just like you, to fulfill their role in the family of God. CBC has this mission and only this mission: to train ministers and missionaries for tomorrow’s Church. Spirit-filled faculty dedicated to this cause diligently prepare and working many disciplines: preaching and evangelism, missions, urban ministry, church education, music, multimedia, communications, church administration, pastoral studies and many other areas of ministry.
The founding of the General Council of the Assemblies of God in 1914 was marked by an emphasis upon the need for training ministers and missionaries. Central Bible College was established in 1922 in response to this need.
Central Bible College’s rapid growth, three other schools merged with CBC: Bethel Bible Training Institute of Newark, New Jersey in 1929; South Central Bible College of Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1953; and Great Lakes Bible Institute, Zion, Illinois, in 1954.

Central Bible College is an Assemblies of God institution of higher learning having a Bible-centered curriculum designed to educate and train ministers, missionaries, and Christian workers to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in and through the local church.

To be a nationally-recognized undergraduate theological center of academic excellence and resource for the global Pentecostal movement and to discover, develop, equip, and send effective Spirit-filled, servant leaders who impact the world for Christ.
Library
Leading Pentecostal Library. The Pearlman Memorial Library at CBC is one of the leading Pentecostal libraries in the world with more than 125,000 books and 11,000 periodical volumes. Online resources include 4,130 journals in full-text as well as 8,000 books and reference sources.
