Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium trains musicians, singers, music teachers, church musicians, composers and recording directors in a broad range of subjects and specialities.

Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium offers a three-year bachelor programme and a two-year master’s programme in which the students specialise in a particular field. Following their master’s degree, students can apply for admission to a advanced postgraduate diploma programme, which has a usual duration of two years and concludes with a public debut concert. The Academy also offers a number of continuing education.

Library
Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium library is situated on the ground floor in New Wing towards Worsaaesvej. The entrance of the library is down the corridor to the left of the reception when entering the building from Rosenørns Allé 22. The discoteque and the record collection of the Danish Radio used to be here. Today you find a fully renovated modern library designed by the Architects Vilhelm Lauritzen. The establishing of the music library was made possible through a donation from the A.P. Møller Foundation in 2008.
