Donau-Universität Krems

Donau-Universität Krems has specialized in postgraduate academic studies and offers exclusive courses in the fields of health and medicine, communication and globalization, business and law, education and media as well as of arts, culture and building. Being a European model project, Danube University Krems combines high quality in education, research and consulting with excellent customer orientation and service. More than 5,000 students from 80 countries are enrolled in over 150 academic courses.

Donau-Universität Kremswas founded in 1994 and teaching started here in 1995 with three courses and 93 students. The university is the largest provider of postgraduate continuing education in Austria and one of the leading competence centers of academic continuing education in central Europe.

Donau-Universität Krems is facing up to the social challenge of lifetime learning: established in 1995 it is still the only university in Europe that has specialised in postgraduate continuing education. Enthusiasm for the qualified and innovative involvement with the complex social, organisational and technical challenges presented by our society in the new Europe is what motivates the students, the teaching staff and everyone else working at Danube University Krems.
