École Supérieure d’Ingénieurs en Génie Electrique trains engineers in telecommunications, electronics, information technology, computer networks, embedded systems, automatic robotics, electrical engineering dedicated to transportation, mechatronics, energy and sustainable development, biomedical engineering, business or financial engineering.
His program is based on an engineering project-based teaching, allowing the formation of a true personal and professional project. It includes a strong international dimension, innovation and entrepreneurship. It also includes a consideration of environmental and societal constraints.
École Supérieure d’Ingénieurs en Génie Electrique is supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rouen (CCIR), which co-operates under a 1901 law association with the Society of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (SIGELEC) comprising former students with communities (Regional Council of Haute Normandie, Rouen urban area), companies and their representative structure (Aircelle, EDF, France Telecom, Synchronic, Thales Air Systems, Valeo and UIMM), and with those of higher education (University Rouen).
École Supérieure d’Ingénieurs en Génie Electrique will be operational in 2011 with funding from the Europe / State of the Region Haute-Normandie, the Department of Seine Maritime, Community of Rouen, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rouen and the ‘ESIGELEC.
