B2. Suppose you are Anurag Verma.  You come across an advertisement about a guided/package tour to Uttaranchal.  Write a postcard in not more than 50 words to Blue Hill Adventure Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. to enquire about the package tour for your family of four.(5 marks)

B3. Read the following extract:
New Delhi: Health Minister A. Ramadoss has said that all villages affected by chikungunya fever would get Rs.10,000 to prevent mosquito breeding and to spread awareness among people even as 17,000 suspected cases of the viral disease have been reported so far this year.

The heavy rains in the country have aggravated the spread of chikungunya fever. Write an article for the local newspaper, highlighting the importance of personal as well as community hygiene in order to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes, in about 150 words.  10 marks

B4. As a citizen who is aware of  happenings in your country, you are concerned about the increase in road accidents in the metropolitan cities of India. Interpret the data given below and using your own ideas, write a letter in about 150 words to the newspaper ‘The Chronicle’. You are Arun / Anita. (10 marks)
