The Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW) is a private , nationally recognized college with locations in Paderborn and Bergisch Gladbach , Dresden , Bielefeld and Mettmann and has its roots in 1972 by computer pioneer Heinz Nixdorf founded educational center for information processing professions . In partnership with the College of the economy in Hannover is the FHDW with approximately 1,800 students of the largest private, nationally recognized universities in Germany .

The UAS industry is the education center for information processing professions worn. Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft was in 1972 by Heinz Nixdorf founded and developed since then, in collaboration with several companies, professional training concepts.

Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft took in Paderborn in 1993 her work. 1996 additional sites were in Bergisch Gladbach and Hannover opened. In 2001, a site in Bielefeld , 2003 in Celle opened. 2005 started the trial operation in Dresden . On 28 September 2009 with the first lecture in Mettmann opened the newest location.
