The Fachhochschule Vorarlberg (FHV) in Dornbirn is an Austrian university departments for engineering, business, media design and social work. It is next to the PH Vorarlberg is the only university in the state of Vorarlberg .

Fachhochschule Vorarlberg

The legislative history of the Fachhochschule Vorarlberg began in 1992 with the high school-like fold test study “Manufacturing Automation” at the TU Graz. In autumn 1994, the first ten college courses started in Austria, including the Diploma course “Manufacturing Automation” of the FH Vorarlberg. In autumn 1995, the program called “Business Process and Project Management” was opened.

The research and development in the fields of micro technology, process and product engineering and user-centric technologies has expanded greatly in need of further laboratory. On the part of the country were for the further expansion of the college approved a further 10,000 sqm. The extension of the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences was founded in November 2005 open.
