- It covers all levels (lower, middle, top) and categories (unskilled, skilled, clerical managerial, technical, professional) of employees. It covers both organized and unorganized sector of employees.
- It applies to employees in all types of organisations (Industry, trade, service, economic, social, religious, political and government). So common in all types of organisations.
- It is a continuous and never ending process- A continuous circle of processes.
- It is the responsibility of all Line managers and a function of Staff managers in an organization.
- It aims at securing unreserved cooperation from all employees in order to attain predetermined goals.
