Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery – B.A.M.S.
Duration:5½ years ( Including one year internship)
Eligibility: (a)Must have passed higher secondary school certificate examination after 12 years of schooling with science subjects. Knowledge of Sanskrit is essential for the admission in Gujarati medium regular course.
(b) Any other equivalent course recognized by the Government and State education Board.
Doctor of Medicine (ayurveda vachaspati) M.D.(Ayu)/ Doctor of Surgery (ayurveda dhanvantari) M.S.(Ayu)*
Duration:Three years
Eligibility: Graduation in Ayurveda from the recognized University.
Doctor of Philosophy (ayurvidya varidhi) Ph.D.(Ayu)
Duration: Minimum 2 years.
Eligibility:M.D. (Ayu). Or equivalent postgraduate from recognized University in the concerned subject/specialty.
Introductory Course in Ayurveda
Duration: 12 weeks.
Eligibility: This course is primarily meant for scholars/professionals having medical background or graduation in biosciences or in fields allied to medicine.
Master Degree in Medicinal Plants Sciences (M.Sc.(ayu medicinal plants)
(under PGT SFC Cell)
Duration: 2 years
Qualification: Graduate in any of the following disciplines: Botany, Pharmacy, Agriculture or Ayurveda.
Doctor of Philosophy in Medicinal Plants Sciences (Ph.D.(ayu medicinal plants))
Eligibility:
A candidate holding Masters Degree in Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences or Ayurvedic Medicinal Plant Sciences or equivalent will be eligible for registration for Ph.D. degree
