Blue bags full of clothes, toys and treats brought Maren Mahnken, technical staff of the Hochschule Bremerhaven, on behalf of the members of the Hochschule Bremerhaven to Leherheide. For the children’s aid project “Sunflower Association” had students, professors and employees of the University of Bremerhaven, collected donations during the Christmas season to help the children and making them right now before Christmas a joy.
Its maritime profile is characteristic of the Hochschule Bremerhaven. This not only contributes directly to their geographical location at the mouth of the Weser to the North Sea, but also its innovative, modern and influenced maritime courses. In the 28 technical, scientific and economic sciences bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at the “University by the Sea” currently has around 2529 students enrolled from 66 countries.
In the final round of the competition “Generation D. Ideas for Germany. Together to tackle “three students presented their joint project of the Hochschule Bremerhaven JOURNAL OF THE ROAD. As one of the top ten projects nationwide, the first local street magazine for Bremen and Bremerhaven were awarded in Berlin. Speaking to representatives from politics and economy presented Nora, Will and Anna Markelova Mareike Island Man of the Cruise Industry Management program in the University of Bremerhaven, the joint project of students and people in need at the awards ceremony at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski before.
Library
The library at the Hochschule Bremerhaven, which belongs to the State and University Library Bremen leads, especially literature, is for the individual programs at the University of importance. S in the house over 3,000 students are in addition to the literature a large number of PC workstations.
