Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften – FH München

The Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften – FH München (Munich University briefly) is one of the fifteen universities of Munich , with approximately 16 400 students , the largest university of applied sciences in Bavaria and by the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne , the second largest in Germany.

The Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften – FH München is not a campus university, but is distributed over several locations. In addition to the main complex on the Lothstraße / Dachauerstraße it the locations Pasing and Charles Street.

1822 saw the founding of the Munich school construction by Prof. Hermann Mitterer, 1909, the transition took place in the National Building School in Munich, the Munich State Building later. In 1924, the Higher Technical Institute of Munich, later Oskar von Miller Polytechnic was opened.

The Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften – FH München was the first August 1971 as a result of the newly established University Law School as a successor to some of these engineering schools and professional colleges founded.
