The Hochschule Hamm-Lippstadt is a university in the country North Rhine-Westphalia .
The founding of the Hochschule Hamm-Lippstadt in 2009 decided to expand the law colleges in North Rhine-Westphalia by the parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. The law came with announcement on 21 April, 2009. The new college took on 21 September 2009 at the locations Hamm and Lippstadt on the operation. She is on the STEM -focused disciplines, mathematics, computer science, science and technology, and complements the existing educational opportunities in the region. President of the university is Klaus Zeppenfeld , Vice-President Karl-Heinz Sandknop.
Locations of the Hochschule Hamm-Lippstadt university are the cities of Hamm and Lippstadt. In 2013 Hamm building of the former barracks of Paracelsus are Bundeswehr used. In December 2010, began the demolition work on the old Military Hospital in Hammersmith. By the winter semester 2013/14 will be located on the grounds of seventeen new buildings with 17 304 m². With the summer semester 2014, there will of course be undertaken.
In Lippstadt equally a new building is near the historic downtown. Here are 15 910 m² floor space provided. Until its completion, the university uses Hamm-Lippstadt seminar and lecture rooms in CARTEC and in a building of Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. of Lippstadt.
