The Hochschule Heilbronn is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2011. She is a modern, innovative educational institution with a broad spectrum of subjects with more than 7,200 students and is the largest Hochschule Heilbronn.

In 1988 a branch office situated in the idyllic Künzelsau, the county seat of Hohenlohe, founded. The second site is located approximately 50 kilometers east of Heilbronn, and currently has nearly 1,400 students. In 2009 was established as the third location of the university campus in Schwäbisch Hall. 150 students here have decided to study about management and sales.

Hochschule Heilbronn was established on 17 April 1961 as the National Engineering School founded in Heilbronn, founding director was Friedrich Aßmus. The first courses were fine mechanics and engineering , the latter divided into the trains operating engineering and construction . Was first taught in rented rooms in the Heilbronn district station, the administration was in the former cigar factory Heilbronner housed.

Mission
This model provides a common identity and common values ​​of all members of the Hochschule Heilbronn. Created in a process of shared development, it pushes mission and vision of the Heilbronn University and serves as a long-term landmark, and as a guardrail for standards by which we measure ourselves and our actions.
