Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie

In 1860, the Bishop of Namur abandoned in favor of the Franciscan order, to own the whole building. In 1970, the Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie is created and occupies the buildings of the former novitiate of the Franciscan monastery, which inaugurates a new story and new developments.
Library
Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie library is almost exclusively musical, but also contains some books of literature and art history. The collection consists mostly of scores (choral singing, various instruments, chamber music, symphonic music …), recordings, music education methods, educational records, encyclopedias, history books and analysis.
