Internationale Hochschule Calw

Internationale Hochschule Calw (IHC) was established in 1994 as a continuing education academy and received state accreditation in 1998. Internationale Hochschule Calw follows the mandate of a public educational institute. The university’s lectures are held in the facilities of the “Federal Academy for Further Education and Personal Development in School Systems” in Bad Wildbad. Internationale Hochschule Calw primary support comes from the high level of personal engagement that characterizes everyone associated with the IHC, our innovative university management, which reconciles the specific requirements of scientific work with the demands of modern business management, and a network of select cooperation partners. The mission statement of the Internationale Hochschule Calw, which was developed anew in 2009 and further differentiated, represents a humanistic view of people that centers on the individual as a being that feels, thinks and acts. In addition to maintaining a spirit of openness and innovation, the university strives – by upholding a transparent, supportive, and fair culture of communication – to foster the creation of social environments characterized by respect and conscientiousness. The university is characterized by an atmosphere of mutual recognition based on the principles of respect and dignity. Knowledge regarding the constant change processes in society, culture and the economy is what motivates the university to develop sustainable and innovative concepts, which take into account the interdependencies of human cooperation.
