Metropolitní univerzita Praha, (MUP) are among the oldest and largest private universities in the Czech Republic. Long term interest of applicants to the Metropolitan University Prague testifies to the reputation of quality educational institutions. In the academic year 2010/2011 is studying at Metropolitní univerzita Praha approximately 5500 students. Since its founding in 2001, the University offers courses in international relations, territorial, legal specialization and international economic relations, both in time and in the combined (distance) form in Czech and English. Metropolitní univerzita Praha is based in Prague and in three regional cities – in Pilsen, Liberec and Hradec Kralove.

Metropolitní univerzita Praha, providing higher education in seven undergraduate, seven master’s and doctoral three fields. It was founded in 2001 and is thus one of the first newly established private Czech universities after 1989. 13th December 2007 gained university status and changed its name from the University of Public Administration and International Relations, Public Service at the Metropolitan University Prague, ops.
