M.Phil, EFLU

The university offers M.Phil in these languages:
Arabic, French, German, Russian

Eligibility:
A person with any one of the following qualifications can apply for an M. Phil:

• MA in the language concerned (MOL for Arabic) with a high Second Class (55%) or an overall Grade B average.
• MA in the language concerned (MOL for Arabic) with Grade C average and a PGCT/PGDT with at least an overall Grade C.
• MA in the language concerned (MOL for Arabic) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in teaching the language at a recognized institution.

Duration
It takes two semesters (one year) to complete an M. Phil programme. You may be granted an extension of one year.

How can You join the M. Phil programme?
You will be given admission to the M. Phil programme on the basis of your performance in a qualifying Written Test and an Interview.
