Navsari Agricultural University is an agricultural university at Navsari in the Indian state of Gujarat. Commencing with a college of agriculture established in 1965 on a sprawling farm land of 400 hectares located on the historic road of Dandi March around 3 km from Navsari railway station and 8 km from the National Highway No. 8, the Navsari campus gained the status of a separate agricultural university with effect from May 1, 2004. The university caters to the needs of the farmers of the plantation crops in the heartland of Gujarat; the Kanam zone of cotton, sorghum and pigeon pea and hill millets of tribal belt. Besides the above, this area is also well known for its forest tree species like teak, Khair, Kalam and bamboo. It used to be part of Gujarat Agricultural University till May 2004. Colleges : Agriculture, Agri Business Management, Horticulture and Forestry. The university has specialization in providing higher education specifally in the field of Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture and Fisheries. It aims to provide higher education to people and to impart technical knowledge in them.

Board of Studies
The Agricultural College Library was established in the year 1960 in the main college building which was later shifted to its current premises and functioned as the campus library catering to the needs of students and faculty of both the colleges; the N. M. College of Agriculture and the Aspee College of Horticulture and Forestry. When the Navsari Agricultural University came into existence on May1, 2004, it was converted into University Central Library.
