Nirma University of Science and Technology

Institute of Technology is a leading institute offering multi disciplinary postgraduate & undergraduate programmes in engineering. The institute was affiliated to Gujarat University till April 2003. Thereafter, it has become a constituent of the Nirma University. The institute shares the Nirma University campus with four other institutions viz Management, Pharmacy, Science and Diploma Studies. All have distinguished record of achievements. The academic environment generated by the interaction between professional disciplines has a stimulating influence, especially in the formative years of young students.

Library
The library aims to facilitate learning, teaching, research, training and consultancy activities at the Institute. The library resource center is fully automated and for this we have specialized user-friendly library software called Alice for Windows (AfW). The center has adopted latest information technologies like CD, DVD, Multimedia Kits, Bar-code Scanners, Text and Graphic Scanners. The user community has access to the entire collection through CD, DVD, Hard Disk, and Internet based access.
