Ozark Christian College is located on a spacious 95-acre campus in the city of Joplin in southwest Missouri. This area, termed “The Four States,” is only a short drive from four major cities – Kansas City, MO, Fayetteville, AR, Branson, MO, and Tulsa, OK. This campus not only has a great location, but is also in Phase II of a four-phase master plan to expand OCC’s campus to accommodate 1,200 students.

Ozark Bible College was founded in 1942 as a classic four-year Bible College with only a handful of students. And despite changes through the years, the mission remains the same – to train men and women for Christian service through an undergraduate Bible college education.

The high academic caliber of OCC remains steady due to the varied faculty of full-time and part-time professors and a student-faculty ratio of 18:1. Not only can students enjoy the atmosphere of the classroom, they can take advantage of the 76 hours of credit offered through Distance Learning. Students’ options, the high standards for learning, and the quality faculty create a biblical and ministerial education that is hard to match.

Ozark Bible College was established in Bentonville, Arkansas, on June 12, 1942. The school was committed to training men and women for Christian service by teaching the Word of Christ in the Spirit of Christ. An earlier OZARK CHRISTIAN COLLEGE was established in St. Joe, Arkansas, in 1938. It moved to Harrison, Arkansas, in 1939, and then to Bentonville in 1940.
