The university offers M.A. in Applied Linguistics, M. Phil and Ph. D in Linguistics and Post Graduate Diploma in Linguistics and Language Teaching and many more regular courses:

  • M.A Applied Linguistics

Course Duration: 2 years  (4 semesters)
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed B.A/B.Com/B.Sc with Telugu as second Language or B.A with special Telugu.

  • M.Phil Linguistics

Course Duration: 1 year  (2 semesters)
Eligibility:
1. M.A in Linguistics with 50% marks or M.A in Applied Linguistics or Anthropological or Linguistics or Translation Studies, Or
2. M.A in any language with 50% marks along with a diploma in Linguistics  or at least a paper on Linguistics in M.A or M.C.J, Or
3. 50% marks in P.G degrees in Philosophy or Education or Anthropology or Sociology or Psychology or Statistics or Computer Sciences or Speech Pathology or Journalism along with a P.G diploma in Linguistics or an equivalent certificate.

  • Ph.D Linguistics

Course Duration: 3 years
Eligibility: Candidates should have M.A. with 50% marks in the concerned subject, and
1. Those who have only M.A. should have published at least five standard articles in the concerned subject in established journals, Or
2. Those who have obtained M.Phil degree in the concerned subject or qualified in the J.R.F or N.E.T examinations are eligible for both full-time and part-time Ph.D.

  • M.A Karnatic Music (Vocal, Mridangam and Veena)

Course Duration: 2 years  (4 semesters)
Eligibility: Candidate should have passed degree from any recognized university in Karnatic music, Or
Any degree from a recognized university with the status of ‘B’ grade artist in AIR, Or
Any degree from a recognized university along with a diploma in Music

  • Diploma in Lalitha Sangeetham

Course Duration: 2 years
Eligibility
S.S.C or equivalent examination. Age should be between 16-50

  • Diploma in Harikatha

Course Duration: 2 year
Eligibility:
- Knowledge of reading & writing in Telugu.
- Should have completed 18 years.
- Should have given at least two performances in Harikatha.

  • M.A Kuchipudi Nrityam

Course Duration: 2 years  (4 semesters)
Eligibility Information: Should have a degree in Kuchipudi dance from a recognized university, Or
- Any degree from a recognized university with
a) Diploma in Kuchipudi Dance from a government recognised institution
b) ‘B’ grade artist from Doordarshan
c)  Should belong to a traditional Kuchipudi organization like Kuchipudi or Surabhi with 5 years experience in performance
d) Possessing a certificate of 5 years experience in any renowned and government recognized Dance or Theatre organization.

  • M.A   Andhra Natyam

Course Duration: 2 years  (4 semesters)
Eligibility Information: Candidates should have passed B.A/B.Com./B.Sc/B.F.A with
a) Certificate in Andhra Natyam from an institute recognized by the Government, Or
b) ‘B’ grade artist from Doordarshan
c) Possessing a certificate of 5 years experience in any renowned and government recognized Dance or Theatre organization.

  • Diploma in Yakshaganam
  • M.A Folk Arts
  • M.Phil Folk Arts
  • M.A   Theatre Arts
  • M.Phil Theatre Arts
  • Diploma in Mimikri
  • Diploma in Padya Natakam
  • P.G. Diploma in   Theatre Arts
  • B.F.A Sculpture & Painting

Course Duration: 4 years  (8 semesters)
Eligibility: Should have passed Intermediate in the Month of March 2004  or  after that.

  • P.G  Diploma in Travel & Tourism (Telugu and English media)

Course Duration: 1 year
Eligibility: Any degree from recognized university

  • Indian Management & Personality Development (Telugu and English media)

Course Duration: 1 year
Eligibility:
Any degree from recognized university

  • Masters in Communication & Journalism (Integrated)

Course Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
Eligibility: B.A/B.Com/B.Sc/B.F.A from recognized University

  • Certificate in Jyothisham

Course Duration: 1year
Eligibility:
Should have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination.

  • Diploma in Jyothisham

Course Duration: 1 year

  • P.G Diploma in Modern Architecture & Jyotirvaastu

Course Duration: 1 year
Eligibility: Any Degree with Certificate in Jyotisham

  • Ph.D Jyothisham

Course Duration: 3 years
Eligibility: Candidates should have M.A. with 50% marks in the concerned subject, And
- Those who have only M.A. should have published at least five standard articles in the concerned subject in established journals, Or
- Those who have obtained M.Phil degree in the concerned subject or qualified in the J.R.F, OR
- N.E.T examinations are eligible for both full-time and part-time Ph.D.

  • M.Phil in Comparative Literature

Course Duration: 1 year  (2 semesters)
Eligibility:
- M.A with 50% marks in any Indian Languages, Or
- English M.A, Or
- MOL (Master of Oriental Learning) candidates are also eligible. Expertise in Telugu and knowledge of another language is essential.

  • Ph.D in Comparative Literature

Course Duration: 3 years
Eligibility: Candidates should have M.A. with 50% marks in the concerned subject, And
- Those who have only M.A. should have published at least five standard articles in the concerned subject in established journals, Or
- Those who have obtained M.Phil degree in the concerned subject or qualified in the J.R.F or N.E.T examinations are eligible for both full-time and part-time Ph.D.

  • M.A   Telugu

Course Duration: 2 years  (4 semesters)
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed B.A./B.Com./B.Sc with Telugu as second Language with at least 50% of marks, Or
- B.A with special Telugu

  • M.Phil   Telugu

Course Duration: 1 year
Eligibility: M.A in Telugu with 50% marks from any recognized University.

  • M.Phil History, Culture & Archeology (Full Time)

Course Duration: 1 year
Eligibility: M.A. degree with 50% marks in History/Ancient History/ Ancient Indian History/ Archeology/Indian Culture/ Anthropology
Admission Information

  • M.Phil History, Culture & Archeology (Part Time)

Course Duration: 1 year
Eligibility: M.A. degree with 50% marks in History/Ancient History/ Ancient Indian History/ Archeology/Indian Culture/ Anthropology, And
Candidates who are working in Junior or Degree Colleges are eligible.

  • Ph.D History

Course Duration: 3 years
Eligibility: Candidates should have M.A. with 50% marks in the concerned subject, And
- Those who have only M.A. should have published at least five standard articles in the concerned subject in established journals, Or
-  Those who have obtained M.Phil degree in the concerned subject or qualified in the J.R.F or N.E.T examinations are eligible for both full-time and part-time Ph.D.
