Royal Roads University is a public university located in Victoria, British Columbia, that describes itself as “Canada’s University for Working Professionals”.
The university’s main building, Hatley Castle, was completed in 1908 for coal and rail baron James Dunsmuir, who was Lieutenant Governor and Premier of British Columbia during the first decade of the 1900s.
