All Saints University of Medicine, Aruba
All Saints University of Medicine – Aruba, a U.S. based curriculum medical school, was founded in 2002, and is located on the Caribbean island of Aruba.
Campus:
The campus is in a dedicated series of buildings with medical library, student recreation center, and 12 lecture rooms. The current and permanent location of ASUM was built in 2006. The ASUM campus is approximately 2km from Eagle Beach.
Our faculty members are fully qualified and of very high caliber. MD Basic science professors possess either an MD degree or a PhD. Classrooms are equipped with high tech educational equipment, in order to fully facilitate the professors in providing an exceptional standard of teaching.
Scholarships:
Five individually sponsored scholarships are available in each semester and are awarded to outstanding and deserving students upon the recommendation of the scholarship committee. Please submit a paragraph in support of your request along with your application.
Off-Campus Activities:
Students have special access to local gyms, scuba diving, and windsurfing through affiliated organizations
Financial Aid:
The management board and its experienced faculty are working hard to assist you in the financial matters. Federally subsidized loans are not yet available but the loans from various private lending institutions and banks are available supported by a co-signer. Upon your acceptance to ASUM, you will be advised and directed to the appropriate institution. Experienced staff is there to help you at our US Admissions Office and will provide you with the necessary information and documentation.
Eligibility:
Premedical Studies should normally include:
- One academic year of general Biology or Zoology
- One academic year of general inorganic Chemistry and one year of advanced Chemistry
- One year of Physics is recommended
- One academic year of English
- One academic year of Math is recommended
- A broad background in humanities/social sciences is recommended
