The Suez Canal University is an Egyptian university serving the Suez Canal area, having its faculties divided among the Suez Canal governerates (Port Said, Suez & Ismailia Governorates). It was established in 1976. It is notable for its non-classic research. It has 28 faculties (12 in Ismaïlia, 9 in Port Said, 5 in Suez and 2 in Arish with a total number of students reaching 21,325.

SPE “Society of Petroleum Engineers” is a professional association which provides a key resource for technical information related to oil and gas exploration and production and provides services online, through its publications, meetings and other programs.

SPE Suez Canal University Chapter aims to be a chapter of professional excellence, providing its members the highest quality learning through collecting, disseminating and exchanging technical knowledge and continuous personal and professional growth.
