  • Smell of onions can be removed from the pan if you cook potatoes in it.
  • To make rice white and fluffy, add one teaspoon of lemon juice to each quarter of water while cooking.
  • When frying cold boiled potatoes, sprinkle them with a little flour and pepper. They will get brown colour much quicker and the flavour will be considerably improved.
  • Salt will flow freely in the dampest weather if you add a teaspoon of raw rice to the salt when you put it in the shaker.
