Universidade Católica de Moçambique

The Universidade Católica de Moçambique is a private institution of higher education, nonprofit, which builds knowledge in different fields of knowledge through dialogue with the different conceptions of science.

Universidade Católica de Moçambique intends to be an authentic university community, rooted in the principles of truth and respect for the person through the dissemination of ideas, ideas and Christian values. As an institution of higher education, is consolidated as a reference of the central and northern regions of the country and the training of professionals committed to the life and progress of Mozambican society.

Universidade Católica de Moçambique

The Universidade Católica de Moçambique was officially founded in 1995 as a private institution of higher education (cf. Decree No. 43/95 of September 14). The 10, like 1996, opened its doors with the Faculty of Economics and Management (Beira) and Nampula School of Law), both outside the capital of Mozambique (Maputo), with the aim of reducing the disadvantages and inequalities in access to training, in the spirit of peace and reconciliation.

Vision and Mission
The Episcopal Conference of Mozambique (CEM) founded the Catholic University of Mozambique Universidade Católica de Moçambique to ensure the retrieval of values ​​and rights universally recognized and shared by humanity in order to promote and encourage the formation of the basic structure of a culture of solidarity, fraternity , peace, justice and democracy in the country this perspective, decentralization of higher education in Mozambique has been seen by the bishops as a vehicle for reducing social inequalities, consolidating peace and democracy.
