It was founded in 1973 with the assistance of the City of Linz and Upper School of the Art and Industrial Design (as successor to the School of Art Linz).

Vision

To the customers are currently 3 online catalog, research facilities, a spacious reading and work table, two computer workstations, one Mac desktop, all connected to an A3 scanner and software and a color printer, copier and reproduction capabilities, and more comfortable reading areas are available.
