Who wants to study in selected fields of science in a friendly atmosphere and puts both to good times as well as scientific studies on a distinct practical value, selected by the University of Hildesheim, the right to study. The range of subjects is organized into four departments: “Education and Social Sciences”, “Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Communication”, “Language and Information Sciences” and “mathematics, natural sciences, economics and computer science.” Cross-departmental centers, graduate programs and endowed professorships strengthen the scientific research. Study commissions guarantee the participation of students in the quality management and the development of teaching and learning.

Universität Hildesheim is understood in terms of their legal mandate, as well as specialist training. It has therefore – up multidisciplinary networks that are characterized by an ongoing dialogue with leaders from education, business and society. Mission
Mission Statement for the Universität Hildesheim also includes special support student performance. So 100 scholarships under the Minerva school, are awarded, the Social Fund grants student in acute distress red tape.
