The Donors’ Association has in the “Cum Laude” all German universities, the students asked for their vote, which courses in their view, are particularly persuasive. The Universität Passau Course Cultural Industries / International Cultural and Business Studies (BA) scored the second Place and was awarded with “Magna cum Laude”.

The current edition of the Universität Passau campus magazine turns and looks back and forward. Under the motto of Farewell and Departure authors portray the outgoing and incoming sizes of the University of Passau. President Walter Schweitzer looks back at the time when the professors questioned even the success of the university, the former Chancellor Ludwig Bloch recalls the highlight of his civil service career, the evacuation of the student ghetto, the president-elect says Professor Burkhard Freitag his future plans and the Chancellor Dr. Andrea tells stock market, as it has drifted as they head into the male-dominated realm of server rooms.

Universität Passau library is more than the house with the books on the shelves. They also licensed databases, electronic journals and e-books. Especially the latter set is a great relief to the lives of students, because they are available around the clock, one for each copy is available and there is no return date.
