Université de Bretagne Sud
Université de Bretagne Sud is located in three cities in the heart of southern Brittany. These three campuses include all areas taught at the university. Founded in 1995, the University of South Brittany, has now emerged as a key player in promoting social and economic development and cultural region. Multidisciplinary, modern and innovative, UBS confirmed a steady growth, led by a strong proximity and professionalism.
The Université de Bretagne Sud a public scientific and professional culture, is a university full-network, multi-disciplinary outreach and human scale, modern culture by young French university (established on 7 February 1995) and the youth of his coaching.

Université de Bretagne Sud is a founding member of the UEB – European University of Brittany, one of nine PRES (research center and higher education) created by decree in March 2007. Université de Bretagne Sud includes all universities and colleges Breton, or 70,000 students and 6,000 professionals. Université de Bretagne Sud focuses on the doctoral research and development and seeks greater international visibility. In September 2007, the ENSIB – National School of Engineers of South Brittany – welcomes its first class of students on Lorient and Vannes in the UBS.
