Université de Savoie

Université de Savoie is a training and research multidisciplinary. Located in the Savoie and Haute-Savoie plays its role of establishing close to its 12 000 students to whom it provides conditions for studying and monitoring personal preference.

Founding member of the NEAR (Pole Research and Higher Education) University of Grenoble in July 2010, the Université de Savoie is involved in the race at the initiative of international excellence in the context of Investments for the Future (Large Loan). The IDEX (Excellence Initiative) “+ GUI” (University of Grenoble-Alpes Innovation) including the University of Savoie is a part, has been pre-selected by an international jury.

Open to the world, the Université de Savoie has built a particularly close relationship with neighboring Swiss and Italian and opens its research and training abroad.

If the university owns the Savoy since the fifteenth century, the Université de Savoie is a young, it celebrated its 30 anniversary in 2009 , when she joined the University of Grenoble PRES. Different presidents have succeeded at the head of the institution that has seen it evolve and grow over the years its training, research capabilities and facilities.
