Université Moulay Ismaïl is a public institution of higher education and scientific research Moroccan , non-profit. Université Moulay Ismaïl is located in the Imperial City Meknes . Université Moulay Ismaïl was established on 23  October  1989 by the Dahir No. 21-86-144.

1982  : Creation of the first two schools Meknes : Faculty of Arts and Science Faculty, who were rattachéent at the Université Moulay Ismaïl in Fes. 23 October 1989  : Creation of The Université Moulay Ismaïl the Dahir No. 21-86-144 dated 22 Rabia I 1410 (October 23, 1989). The two faculties mentioned above constitute the core.
