Universiteti i Tiranës is an institution with tradition. Dates its founding in 1957 but is worth mentioning that the first foundation stones of the University of Tirana have decided to create the first educational institutions since 1946. Since then they have spent several decades and with them generations of professors, scientists, workers and students. And the success of the University of Tirana is devoted precisely to them. Therefore, thousands of young students who know the tradition and professors who work with them, walk in their footsteps, trying constantly to be anywhere and any time the best.

Universiteti i Tiranës is prepared and motivated to face various challenges of the new century. The main challenges are the integration and globalization of higher education taking into account the stage of development of Albanian society and state with sure steps are taken to integrate the great European family that we belong. Therefore, we are focused on returning to the University of Tirana in a regional actor if not beyond, as his position as leader of the Albanian-speaking universities is a reailtet already accepted by society and educational institutions.
