University of New Brunswick, we bring a diverse group of students together with our nationally recognized professors to learn in small classes and labs.Campuses are located in two New Brunswick cities: Fredericton and Saint John. Fredericton, the provincial capital, was named one of the Top 7 Intelligent Communities by the New York-based Intelligent Communities Forum. Saint John, New Brunswick’s financial and industrial centre, is emerging as an energy hub for the Eastern Seaboard.
In 2010, UNB will celebrate its 225th anniversary. We’re proud to be one of the first public universities in North America. We continue to develop innovative programs and conduct world-class research. “They came to New Brunswick – with little more than they could carry – to settle what was, even by their standards, a wilderness. And yet, within a few months, these ‘loyal Adventurers’ had petitioned the government to provide for the education of their children.”
Mission
We will provide an exceptional and transformative education for our students, by encouraging initiative and innovation, unlocking their creative potential. Our graduates will be prepared to make a significant difference – creating opportunities for themselves and for others.
