Vanguard University of Southern California
Vanguard University of Southern California is located in Costa Mesa, California, USA on 55 Fair Drive, across the street from the OC Fair & Event Center. Founded in 1920 as the Southern California Bible School, the undergraduate school became accredited in 1964, the graduate school in 1983.
Vanguard is a Christian Comprehensive University of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies and is owned by the Southern California District of the Assemblies of God USA.
Vanguard University’s department of theatre arts has received accreditation in the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST). This is a prestigious honor and a testament to the hard work of the department of theatre arts.
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Commission has continued Vanguard’s accreditation following a special site visit this past spring.
