Vysoká škola manažerské informatiky a ekonomiky (VŠMIE) is a private non-university college. State approval to operate as a private high school issued by the Ministry of Education received 29th 1. 1st 2002 (více v sekci historie školy ). 2002 (more in section school history ). Vysoká škola manažerské informatiky a ekonomiky has accredited Bachelor of Economics and Management program with full-time and combined study in the fields of Applied Science and Managerial Economics, and an accredited bachelor’s degree program with specialization Legal full-time studies in the fields of Law in Business and Law in Public Administration. Since the academic year 2009/2010 VŠMIE opened and combined form of study program Legal Specialization.

Vysoká škola manažerské informatiky a ekonomiky was held in Friday, July 4, 2008 at 11:00 am at National House Smíchov. At the graduation ceremony the graduates were awarded diplomas in September 2007, in February 2008 and June 2008. This academic year, successfully completed the study 28 students. Poprvé zakončili studium i studenti kombinovaného studia. For the first time the students finished the study and combined study.
College of Information Management and Business builds on the experience with education in the field of private education dating back to 1994. The establishment of the school staff participated in mainly private computer school, who wanted to offer the public more than just post-secondary education and retraining courses.
