Walsh College

A practical blend of business theory and real-world application defines the Walsh College experience.  Our mission is to deliver a business education that integrates application and theory to prepare graduates for successful careers. Our faculty members are experienced business professionals and dedicated teachers, and our administrative staff ensures that each student receives personalized service in a professional learning environment.

An independent, non-profit institution since 1922, offers a broad range of business and related technology degree programs at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels that are responsive to student, employer, and community needs.  Courses and services are available at Troy, Novi, Clinton Township, Harper Woods, Port Huron, and online.

Walsh College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (www.ncahlc.org; phone: 312-263-0456), the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP, www.acbsp.org), and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE, www.iacbe.org).

Walsh offers its first graduate degree: a Master of Science in Taxation, with a financial and accounting, rather than legal, curriculum. An 7,400 square-foot addition to the Troy campus triples the size of the library and adds two lecture halls, a small bookstore, and a student lounge.

The Troy campus  is expanded by 10,400 square feet to include a new library, faculty offices, a skylight lounge, and computer labs. The College adds the Computer-Based Information Systems major to the Bachelor of Business Administration program. Walsh College marks its 60th anniversary with a Founder’s Day celebration.
