“What we eat, so we become”, any species when killed have the sentimentsof anguish and wretchedness which releases poison. We then consume these toxins. That’s why man is always angry and wretched.

Jainism prohibits underground vegetables, as it believes in strict vegetarianism by sparing those microscopic organisms they contain. Yet we still have them for taste under the cover of health benefits. However, people who shun them are neither mal-nutrition nor suffer any diseases. Health conscious people should first avoid junk food.

To have a peaceful mind, organizing our food habit is essential and vegetarian is its first step.

we becomee what we consume
