Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University

Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) was established in July 1989. It is named after first chief minister of Maharashtra Shri Yashwantrao Balwantrao Chavan. YCMOU is a fifth statutory Open University established in India. It is headquartered in Nashik. YCMOU Regional Centers (RCs) at Amaravati, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nanded, Nashik and Pune. These individual regional centers administrate and operate their groups of many Study Centers (SCs). Teaching at YCMOU occurs in English, Hindi, and Marathi language.
